Objectives
The aim of the course is to develop skills to express opinions and judgements in order to improve the efficiency of conversations and leading discussions in English or German.
Programme
Each conversational course is designed so that discussed topics will meet the participants’ interests and expectations. Art and culture, sport, tourism, professional activity, technological development, ethics in work and business, science, fashion and medicine are some examples of topics that can be covered. During each lesson, students are given the opportunity to work in pairs and groups, give opinions, have conversations, use formal and colloquial language previously studied and express detailed ideas on particular topics. They also carry out precise exercises and improve pronunciation and intonation.
Textbooks
Learners taking part in language conversational courses do not use textbooks. Instead, the courses are based on a variety of teaching materials, such as articles from the British, American and German press, excerpts from books, films and radio broadcasts.
