The aim of each Business English language course and Wirtschaftsdeutsch is to gain the skills required to communicate accurately and fluently in English or German in a variety of business contexts and fields. The training primarily focuses on improving speaking skills, but also develops basic language skills (reading, writing and listening comprehension).
The content of each course is tailored to the needs and expectations of the individual participant, depending on the duration and intensity of the particular course.
Such programmes focus on practising business skills relevant to students’ real life situations and interests. Not only do students learn vocabulary and language structures, but they also gain knowledge and confidence via exercises which simulate actual business events, discussions, negotiations, meetings and presentations. Systematically, new business vocabulary from marketing, management, finance, banking and advertising is introduced.
